Warranty

A full ten years. Replacement, not repair.

Every Prowler Proof product we install is backed by the longest and strongest warranty in the Australian security screen market. If it fails, you get a brand new unit — not a patch job.

10-year full replacementNo receipt neededTransferable to new owners

The closer you look, the better it gets. Prowler Proof is the only Australian security screen manufacturer that backs every product with a full 10-year replacement warranty — and the only one whose mesh has survived a 1000-hour salt-spray test with no signs of corrosion.

What it covers

The warranty in plain English.

A brand new product — not a repair

The Prowler Proof warranty is Australia’s only replacement warranty. Instead of a repair job, you get a brand new product. It’s easy to claim: use the online form and Prowler Proof responds by the next business day, if not before.

No receipt required

The moment your Prowler Proof product leaves the factory, you’re covered. You don’t need to keep your receipt — every product has a serial number that Prowler Proof can track in their system.

The longest in Australia

No other security screen manufacturer in Australia offers a full 10-year replacement warranty on every product in their range. It exists because Prowler Proof can back it.

Transferable to new owners

The warranty stays with the product. If you sell the home within the warranty period, the new owners are covered for the remaining years.

Care & maintenance

How to look after your Prowler Proof screens.

Prowler Proof products are made to last. There’s no rigorous cleaning schedule — but a few small habits keep them looking brand new for the full warranty period and beyond.

Rinse with fresh water every 2–4 weeks

A light rinse from a garden hose is usually enough. For coastal homes or homes exposed to salt air, rinse every 2 weeks to prevent buildup on the mesh.

Wash with mild soap every 6–12 months

Mix warm water with mild dish soap, apply with a soft brush or cloth, rinse thoroughly. Don’t use abrasive scourers, steel wool, or harsh solvents — these will damage the powder coat.

Check and lubricate locks annually

Once a year, work all locks a few times and add a drop of dry graphite or silicone lubricant. Don’t use WD-40 or oil-based lubricants — they attract dust over time.
