The heavy-duty aluminium frame and 316 marine-grade stainless steel mesh are joined in a mechanical and chemical bond — virtually unbreakable, with complete insulation between the two metals to eliminate corrosion. ForceField has passed every imaginable test, and a few you wouldn’t imagine.

Black powder-coated 316 stainless steel — 1.62 mm aperture, 42.5% open area, ultra high-tensile .8 mm wire. Passes the shear and knife-shear parts of AS5039.

Test 01
Security (AS 5039-2008)
Six separate tests passed by the same sample: dynamic impact, jemmy, pull, probe, shear and knife shear. No other welded screen runs this gauntlet.
Test 02
Cyclone
Five steel balls under 1 cm at 170 km/h+, plus a 4 kg timber block at 100 km/h+. ForceField passed the Australian cyclone test AND the American hurricane test.
Test 03
Bushfire
Bushfire-prone zones need corrosion-resistant mesh with openings under 2×2 mm (AS 3959-2009). ForceField is approved for bushfire-prone area installation.
Test 04
Energy & UV
WERS and EN 14501 testing show ForceField reduces solar heat and damaging UV, and cuts heat loss in winter — up to 55% reduction in radiant heat.
Test 05
Corrosion
AS 2331.3.1 and AS 2331.3.2 measure corrosion resistance. ForceField is the only security screen mesh to pass the acetic acid salt-spray test.
Test 06
Insect protection
The mosquito protection test measures ability to keep mosquitoes out over extended periods. ForceField’s tight weave makes it a rigorous performer.
Test 07
Fall prevention
NCC (BCA 2013) requires certain window openings to be screened to prevent child falls. ForceField resists a 250 N outward horizontal action — window restrictors can be removed.

Access control
Optional accessories: keying locks alike, pet doors, and solid panels for wheelchair accessibility. Tested for consistent unassisted access.

Corey was brilliant!! I recently had three security screen doors fitted to my new home. I chose the Prowler Proof doors with Forcefield mesh and they DO look great (the advertising was true - the welded corners look much better than jointed riveted frames). While slightly more expensive than other quotes it really seemed worth it for that difference. As a bonus, Corey was genuinely a pleasure to deal with... Knowledgeable, always friendly and helpful, as well as super fast and efficient when installing the new doors. Besides looking great, the doors also fit perfectly (closers included). I really appreciated his updates on the progress of my order, and the fast turnaround time on manufacturing. I will definitely be ordering more doors in future from Corey (I have two doors on an outbuilding that also need screens). Highly recommended.
